Fall Semester, 2021

Welcome to a new year here at BYU!!!!!

Whether it’s your first year here or your last, a new year means tons of new opportunities!

If you want to make the most of your college experience AND open the door to future graduate school opportunities, then experience as a research assistant is a MUST-HAVE!

That being said, especially for freshmen, it’s HARD to know where to start looking, and EASY to assume there aren’t opportunities available without prior experience…

BUT WE CAN HELP YOU get a head start and join a lab, regardless of what grade you are.

With our experienced club officers & our large network of professors here at BYU, we give you an edge over everyone else trying to land a position as a research assistant.

LET US HELP YOU FIND RESEARCH AND TAKE YOUR EDUCATION INTO YOUR OWN HANDS

Hi there! We have been working hard to meet with our members who are looking for research or internships and get them shadowing labs as soon as possible. If you are currently seeking help to get into a lab or an internship, please respond to this email so we can set up a time to meet with you!

We want to help you prepare for your future education, jobs, and the applications that go with them. We have connections with professors who are willing to let students shadow their research assistants.

We are excited to announce a couple upcoming opportunities:

TOMORROW, Thursday, March 18, 4 PM: Dr. James Moody, BYU Biochemistry, will give a seminar on his lab and research (protein engineering and x-ray crystallography)! This could be a great opportunity to learn about his lab and potentially make a connection with him.
